WEEKLY WEDNESDAY DROP IN & TASTER CLASSES
& 5 WEEK HAND-BUILDING COURSE
This workshops will be hosted by Ana Kerin & Imogen Head
Drop in classes are for all levels, come as you are
this Classes are 2h long
Join in for just one, come weekly, or when schedule allows you
come alone or with a friend
you will be supported by the tutor to work on the project of your choice
all pieces will be fired and glazed in white glaze *additional glazing sessions will be available to book where you can glaze your own work
you will be emailed when they are ready to be collected

join either for beginner / intermediate or intermediate / advance
perfect for building foundation n knowledge or working on bigger projects
we will work though different hand building techniques and you will time to focus on developing and deepening your skills
All pieces will be fired and glazed in white glaze *additional glazing sessions will be available to book where you can glaze your own work

Our Touch and Feel Drop In sessions, are a great introduction to hand building with clay and perfect either if you’re a complete beginner – or if you have some more experience there’s so much to build on. This Drop In gives you a perfect opportunity to dip in when you feel like , always returning to the practice

WHAT TO EXPECT
We like to keep classes to a minimum, up to 5-8 people per class, to ensure a relaxing and rewarding experience for all.
In this two hour workshop you will be shown different hand-building techniques pinching, coiling, slab building, press moulding. Depending on your level of skill and what you are interested in.
You are welcome to play and experiment as much as you like within these two hours. Then we ask you to choose your favourite 2-3 pieces for us to process for you.
We glaze your pieces in our Snow White dipping glaze and fire everything for you. If you would like to keep more pieces, you can pay a supplement fee.
COLLECTION
Classwork is usually ready in 4-6 weeks. We will notify you by email and you can pop by the studio to collect your pieces.
Unfortunately once we have notified you, we can not keep items for longer than two weeks due to limited storage. If the pieces wont be collected 1 month after the initial collection email they will be removed.
PRICE INCLUDES
All tuition, materials, firings and glazes.
Students can keep 1 medium and 2 small pieces , or 2 medium size pieces

Something comfy to wear , and that you are not to precious about, its gonna get messy!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
All workshop/class/course bookings are non-refundable, but if you can’t make it, it’s possible to transfer to a friend who’d love it.

This is a 5 week Hand Building Immersion its a step up developed from Our Touch and Feel Drop In sessions. This is a great introduction to hand building with clay and perfect if you’re a complete beginner – and if you have some more experience there’s so much to build on. And this 5 weeks Immersion will give you a chance to try either different techniques or deepen your knowledge and technique.

You will be given opportunity to wither follow along building a project each week following one of the techniques , or alternatively you can focus on technique and projects you would like to develop confidently and continue working on something over the weeks with my assistance, mentoring and help.
You are welcome to play and experiment as much as you like within these sessions. Then we ask you to choose/ select your favourite pieces for us to process for you. We glaze your pieces in our Snow White dipping glaze and fire everything for you. There will be additional glazing session available to book as an add on.
