WHAT TO EXPECT 

This is a two hour and a half hour workshop where we will be making a  serving platter and a large serving bowl perfect for your roasties and veggies on Christmas day ☺ 

This is a great introduction to hand building with clay and is just enough time to gain an understanding of the material and get you in the Christmas spirit ☺

You will be guided through two methods of handbuilding with clay. The first will be the slab building technique to make your platter and the second will be the press moulding technique to make your serving bowl.

After the session you will leave your creations with us and we will process them for you i.e glaze and fire in our kiln. We will dip them in a beautiful snow white glaze and it  should take about 4 weeks to process them. We will notify you by email when it is ready for collection.
